2. Purpose

Underanchor (the “service”) is a tool for writing scientific documents in LaTeX in which every statement is linked (“anchored”) to a specific paragraph of a source PDF uploaded by the user. The service does not include any artificial intelligence model: whoever wants to use an AI connects it themselves, with their own account.

3. Terms and privacy

Use of the service is governed by the Terms of use and the Privacy policy. By creating an account you declare that you are 16 or older and accept them.

4. Intellectual property and third-party marks

The service's code, design, texts and name belong to the provider, except third-party components, used under their own licences (see Third-party notices). Content uploaded by the user remains theirs or its rightsholders'; the service only hosts and processes it to provide the service.

Underanchor is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (ChatGPT), Crossref, Google or any publisher. Their names are marks of their respective owners and are cited only to indicate compatibility.

5. Illegal content and contact

Anyone who believes content hosted on the service is illegal can report it on the reporting page (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, Digital Services Act). The contact email above is the point of contact for authorities and users (articles 11 and 12 DSA).

6. Governing law

These conditions are governed by Spanish law. For disputes with a consumer, the courts of the consumer's domicile are competent; otherwise, the competent Spanish courts under the law.
