Projects and the LaTeX editor
A project is one LaTeX document (a paper, a chapter, a thesis, a report, a legal brief).
Create a project
Section titled “Create a project”- Home (Inicio) → Create project (Crear proyecto).
- Name (Nombre), Library (Biblioteca) and Document language (Idioma del documento: English or Español; it sets LaTeX conventions and the spell checker).
- A project only searches and cites from its library, so articles from another topic never slip in. You can change the library later.
To bring an existing LaTeX project, choose Import project (.zip) (Importar proyecto (.zip)) in the same dialog.
Home shows Continue (Continuar) with your last edited project and what is pending: sentences without a source, unresolved comments.
The editor
Section titled “The editor”- It is standard LaTeX. Anchors are stored apart from the
.tex, so the files compile in any LaTeX editor untouched. - Text highlighted in yellow has a source; click it to see the exact paragraph.
[SIN FUENTE](in red) marks a sentence with no support yet. - A formatting bar above the editor inserts common LaTeX commands (what does not fit goes to a “more” menu). The bar below it holds the view options: Spelling (Ortografía) marks possible typos and sets the language, Sources (Fuentes) shows or hides the yellow highlight of anchored sentences in the code, and Line numbers (Nº de línea).
The file panel on the left lists the project’s files: .tex, .bib (the bibliography is
generated from your library), styles and figures (.png .jpg .pdf .svg .eps…). Drag files in
to upload; rename, move or delete them from their menu.
The right-hand tabs
Section titled “The right-hand tabs”- Document (Documento) — your compiled PDF, with comments in the margin.
- Source (Fuente) — the cited article, opened on the cited paragraph.
- Library (Biblioteca) — the articles this project can cite.
Version history
Section titled “Version history”History (Historial) keeps versions of the text, anchors and comments together. They are saved automatically while you write and always before your AI changes anything. Save version (Guardar versión) gives one a name (e.g. “Sent to the reviewer”) so it is never deleted; pick any version to see the differences and Restore (Restaurar) it.
Export
Section titled “Export”Export .zip (Exportar .zip) downloads the whole project as standard LaTeX.
During the beta the free plan allows 50 projects. See Account, plan and settings.
